Product description

Galvanized sheet is a steel plate with a layer of zinc on its surface. Galvanizing is an economical and effective method of rust prevention that is often used. About half of the world's zinc production is used in this process.

Function:

Galvanized steel plate is to prevent the surface of the steel plate from being corroded to prolong its service life, coated with a layer of metal zinc on the surface of the steel plate, this coated steel plate is called galvanized plate.

Classification:

According to the production and processing methods can be divided into the following categories:

① Hot dip galvanized steel plate. A sheet of steel is dipped into a molten zinc bath so that it adheres to a sheet of zinc on its surface. At present, the continuous galvanizing process is mainly used for production, that is, the steel plate into a roll of continuous immersion in the melting of zinc plating tank made of galvanized steel plate;

② Alloyed galvanized steel plate. This steel plate is also made by hot dip, but immediately after the trough, it is heated to about 500℃, so that it generates an alloy film of zinc and iron. This galvanized sheet has good coating tightness and weldability;

③ Electric galvanized steel plate. The production of galvanized steel plate by electroplating has good machinability. But the coating is thin, corrosion resistance is not as good as hot dip galvanized sheet;

④ Single-sided plating and double-sided difference galvanized steel plate. Single-sided galvanized steel, that is, galvanized only on one side of the product. In welding, coating, rust treatment, processing and other aspects, it has better adaptability than double-sided galvanized sheet. In order to overcome the shortcomings of single side not coated with zinc, and a galvanized sheet coated with a thin layer of zinc on the other side, that is, double-sided difference galvanized sheet;

Alloy, composite galvanized steel plate. It is made of zinc and other metals such as aluminum, lead, zinc alloy and composite plated steel plate. This steel plate has excellent anti-rust performance and good coating performance;

In addition to the above five, there are color galvanized steel, printing coated galvanized steel, PVC laminated galvanized steel and so on. But the most commonly used is still hot dip galvanized sheet.

Appearance:

(1) surface state: The surface state of galvanized sheet is different because of the different treatment methods in the coating and plating process, such as ordinary zinc flower, fine zinc flower, flat zinc flower, zinc free flower and phosphating surface. The German standard also provides for surface grades.

(2) Galvanized plate should have a good appearance, shall not have harmful defects to the use of the product, such as no plating, holes, cracks and scum, more than thick plating, abrasion, chromic acid dirt, white rust, etc.

Galvanized quantity:

Galvanized quantity standard value: galvanized quantity is a widely used effective method to show the zinc layer thickness of galvanized sheet. The unit of galvanizing quantity is g/m2.

Mechanical properties:

(1) Tensile test:

(1) Performance indicators: generally speaking, only structural, tensile and deep drawing galvanized sheet has tensile performance requirements. The structure of galvanized sheet requires a yield point, tensile strength and elongation, etc. Elongation is required only for stretching.

② Test method: the same as the general sheet steel test method.

(2) Bending test:

The bending test is the main item to measure the technical performance of thin plate, but the requirements of various galvanized sheet are not consistent, the American standard in addition to the structural level, the rest do not require bending and tensile test. And Japan in addition to structural level, building corrugated plate and general corrugated plate, the rest are required to make bending test.

Requirements: General requirements galvanized sheet bending 180, the outer surface of the zinc layer shall not be separated, plate base shall not crack and fracture.

Chemical composition:

The requirements of the chemical composition of galvanized sheet substrate, national standards are different, the national standard is generally detected carbon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, silicon content.
