Product description

Stainless steel pipe is a hollow strip of circular steel, mainly widely used in petroleum, chemical, medical, food, light industry, mechanical instrument and other industrial pipeline and mechanical structure parts. In addition, in the same bending, torsional strength, light weight, so it is also widely used in manufacturing machinery parts and engineering structures. It is also commonly used as furniture and kitchenware.

 

Material classification:

According to the composition of stainless steel tube can be divided into Cr (400 series), CR-Ni (300 series), CR-Mn-Ni (200 series) and precipitation hardening system (600 series). 200 series - Chrome-nickel - manganese austenitic stainless steel 300 series - chrome-nickel austenitic stainless steel.

301----- Good ductility for molding products. It can also be quickly hardened by mechanical processing. Good weldability. The wear resistance and fatigue strength are better than 304 stainless steel.

302----- Corrosion resistance and 304, due to relatively high carbon and therefore better strength.

303----- Makes it easier to machined than 304 by adding a small amount of sulfur and phosphorus.

304----- 18/8 stainless steel. The GB brand is 0Cr18Ni9. 309- Better temperature resistance than 304.

316----- The second most widely used steel after 304, is mainly used in the food industry, pharmaceutical industry and surgical equipment, with the addition of molybdenum to give it a special structure that is resistant to corrosion. It is also used as "Marine steel" because of its better chloride corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel tubes. SS316 is usually used in nuclear fuel reprocessing units. Class 18/10 stainless steel tubes are also usually qualified for this application class.

321----- Has similar properties to 304 except that the addition of titanium reduces the risk of weld corrosion.

400- Ferrite and martensitic stainless steel.

408- Good heat resistance, weak corrosion resistance, 11% Cr, 8% Ni.

409- Cheapest model (Anglo-American), usually used as automobile exhaust pipe, ferritic stainless steel (chrome steel).

410- Martensite (high strength chromium steel), good wear resistance, poor corrosion resistance.

416- Sulfur was added to improve the machining properties of the material.

420-" edge grade "martensitic steel, similar to brinell high chromium steel, the earliest stainless steel.Also used for surgical knives, which can be made very bright.

430-Ferritic stainless steel, for decorative purposes, e.g. for automotive accessories. Good formability, but poor temperature and corrosion resistance.

440- High strength cutting steel, slightly high in carbon, with proper heat treatment to achieve high yield strength, hardness up to 58HRC, is one of the hardest stainless steels. The most common example is the "razor blade". There are three common models :440A, 440B, 440C, and 440F(easy to process).

500- Heat resistant chrome alloy steel.

600- Martensite precipitation hardened stainless steel tubes.

 

Application requirements:

Automobile industry:

Stainless steel is mainly used in the exhaust system, accounting for more than 1/2 of the total amount of automobile stainless steel, 80% of ferritic stainless steel. The exhaust gas produced by the automobile engine flows out of the muffler through the exhaust gas intake pipe, front pipe, hose, converter, central pipe and finally out of the muffler. Exhaust system commonly used steel 409L, 436L and so on. Automobile muffler mainly uses stainless steel welded pipe. According to estimates, the car used stainless steel tube accounted for the whole downstream of stainless steel tube consumption of about 1.5%, and stainless steel seamless tube and welded tube use ratio of about 2:1.

The demand for stainless steel pipe is great, the industry mainly uses stainless steel seamless pipe, specifications include :304, 321, 316, 316L, 347, 317L, etc., outer diameter in ¢18-¢610 or so, wall thickness in 6mm-50mm or so (generally choose specifications in φ 159mm or more of the low pressure pipeline), Specific application areas: furnace tube, material conveying tube, heat exchanger tube and so on.

Water and gas and other fluid transport:

Equipment manufacturing and maintenance:

Mainly use sanitary or antibacterial stainless steel pipe. The sanitary seamless tube made of imported SUS304 and 316L can meet the special requirements of various media in the field of food and biological pharmacy. Antibacterial stainless steel has the advantages of stainless steel and good antibacterial performance, in kitchen equipment, food industry workbench and utensils, medical equipment, tableware in daily life and towel hanging bracket, reefer bracket and other fields of increasing demand.
