Color Coated Steel Coils（PPGI）
Color coated steel plate is made of cold rolled steel plate, electric galvanized steel plate, hot galvanized steel plate or aluminum zinc plate as the base plate after surface degreasing, phosphating, chromate treatment, coated with organic coating by baking products.
Color coating steel plate commonly used coatings are polyester (PE), followed by silicon modified resin (SMP), high weather resistance polyester (HDP), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), etc., coating structure is divided into two coated with a baking and two coated with two baking, coating thickness is generally 20-25U on the surface, 8-10U on the back, building external use should not be lower than the surface 20U, 10U on the back. The standard used for color coated steel plate is ASTM A527(galvanized), ASTM AT92(Galvanized), JIS G3302, European EN/0142, Korean KS D3506, Baosteel Q/BQB420.
Coating performance
1. Polyester (PE)
Good adhesion, wide range in formability and outdoor durability, medium chemical resistance. Service life 7-10 years.
2. Silicon modified resin (SMP)
The film has good hardness, wear resistance and heat resistance, as well as good external durability and non-pulverization, and limited gloss retention and flexibility. Service life 10-15 years.
3. High Weather resistant Polyester (HDP)
Excellent linear uv resistance, high durability, its main properties between polyester and fluorocarbon. Service life is 10-12 years.
4. Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF)
With good molding and color retention, excellent outdoor durability and powdery, solvent resistance, limited color. Service life 20-25 years.

The strength of color steel plate depends on the substrate material and thickness, durability depends on the coating (galvanized quantity 318g/m2) and surface coating, coating with polyester, silicone resin, fluorine resin, etc., coating thickness of more than 25um, coating structure has two coated with a dry, two coated with two dry, maintenance-free service life according to the different environment atmosphere can be 20-30 years.
