On March 19, a new technology seminar on sulphuric acid production from desulfurization waste liquid was held in Taiyuan, Shanxi. Cui Pijiang, Chairman of China Coking Industry Association, Wang Xiaoyun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China Chemical Industry News, and other leaders and experts, as well as representatives from chemical industry associations, related companies, and news media attended the seminar.

　　In recent years, the state has continued to increase environmental supervision, and the desulfurization waste liquid and desulfurization mixed salt of coking plants have been subject to high-intensity supervision. The waste liquid and solid waste of coking companies have nowhere to go, which has become an environmental protection problem that plagues coking companies.

　　There are currently two types of desulfurization waste liquid and sulfur paste acid-making technologies used in the coking industry:

　　The traditional dry method (pretreatment) + dry method (catalytic conversion) acid production process, the dry pretreatment energy consumption is large, and the site environment is poor.

　　wet process (pretreatment) + dry process (catalytic conversion) acid production process, which produces more dilute acid.

　　At the seminar, Ningbo Zhongke Yuandong Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. introduced a new technology. They experimented with various drying processes and improved performance, and creatively proposed to use traditional drying principles in the processing stage of sulfur-containing (sulfur foam) materials to develop new models. The ZKYD-II drying equipment dries the desulfurized materials. In April 2018, the sulphur-containing material sulphuric acid process package and supporting dryer were successfully developed.

　　At the same time, it is researching the problem of large amount of dilute acid in wet acid production, and pioneered the technology of dilute acid reuse, dilute acid is not discharged, and completely solves the problem that dilute acid has nowhere to go at one time. At present, the technology has been industrialized, the process flow is smooth, and the on-site environment is tidy.
